Dave has honed his skills for over 40 years in guitar performance and music composition. And with over 38 years in guitar repair, construction and modification, Dave has come to be known as the “Guitar Guru of Sacramento.” Dave studied woodcraft while at Pittsfield High School, NH, worked for Master Craftsman Ernie Paetsch Cabinets in Utah before moving to California and working with guitar tech, designer and builder, Gary Cooper at Lew's Music and Oasis Guitars, Gary’s own brand, in the late ’70′s. Dave attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston, and is a two-time recipient of the Sacramento Sammie Award in the “Best Jazz Musician” category. He has spent over 50 years mastering the art of the guitar. He frequently performs with his band The Dave Lynch Group, blues group Dr. Rock & The Stuff and modern Jazz group KKSL News the Sacramento. He has also has released 4 CDs, with a fifth in production at his Tool Shed Studio.
